Hadith-e-Qudsi

Oh Son of Adam! One is your desire the other one is what I desire. Things are subservient to what I desire. Yes, if you let go of your desires and seek refuge in my desires. You’d be given what you desire but if you rebel against my desires, you’d waste your energies in vain. Upheld would be my desire.
Hadith-e-Qudsi

Phone Call from Heaven

My Cellphone rang I tried to catch up with pace.
Just to know who it was on the other side?
Why at this time? Why so late?

Couldn’t figure out who it was on the other line.
The silence kept me amazed.

And as I heard the first two words,
Sweet words, those seraphic lips uttered.

Bemused by that voice I heard.
I very well knew who that lady was.

Tears rolled down through the edge of my eyes,
Natural it was, they really couldn’t stop.

Warmly gliding through the pale cheeks,
Surpassing the joys of happiness ever achieved.

The very first words that she pronounced were,
“How are you dear?”
And I was blown apart.

Torn to pieces I was brought back to life,
By the following words that she uttered twice.

“I missed you honey you’ve lost your color!”
“Wish I was there, to give you toasts and butter.”

Startled I was couldn’t let loose a single word
As she kept inquiring,
Undeterred.

I gathered all my strengths
To ask if that really was her?
Was held back and advised by my inner voice,
To stay back and not to err.

She asked me if she really was missed?
How could I tell her she was a forceful bliss.

She asked me how without her life felt like?
“Lost soul without body”
I replied.
